# Delete Voice

`DELETE /v1/voices/{id}`

Delete one of your designed or cloned voices.

The voice stops working at once. Clips already generated with it, and its preview clip, are unaffected.

Base URL: `https://api.spicyapi.com`

## Authorizations

- `Authorization` (string, header, required): Bearer authentication header of the form `Bearer <token>`, where `<token>` is your SpicyAPI key (`sk-spicy-…`). Create one in the dashboard under API Keys.

## Response: 200 application/json

Successful Response

- `id` (string, required): The deleted voice id.
- `object` (string, required): Always `voice`.
- `deleted` (boolean, required): Always true. An unknown id returns 404.
