# Delete Audio

`DELETE /v1/audio/{id}`

Forget a clip so it can no longer be used as a video input.

Removes the clip from your library and from the provenance registry. Videos already made with it are unaffected.

## Authorizations

- `Authorization` (string, header, required): Bearer authentication header of the form `Bearer <token>`, where `<token>` is your SpicyAPI key (`sk-spicy-…`). Create one in the dashboard under API Keys.

## Response: 200 application/json

Successful Response

- `id` (string, required): The deleted clip id.
- `object` (string, required): Always `audio`.
- `deleted` (boolean, required): Always true. An unknown id returns 404.
